Your wedding beauty timeline

As soon as your date is set

Contact us with your wedding date, venue, start time and the number of people who need hair and makeup. Saturdays in peak wedding season book quickly, so earlier is better.

Two to three months before

Book your hair and makeup trial. Bring photos of styles you love, a picture of your dress (especially the neckline and back), and your veil or accessories if you have them. This is the time to try ideas and decide what feels like you.

Four to six weeks before

Start or continue facials so your skin is calm and glowing by the big day. If you color your hair, plan your final color service about one to two weeks before the wedding so it looks fresh but has time to settle.

The week of the wedding

Book manicures for the bride and bridal party a day or two before. Avoid trying new skin care products or treatments this close to the date.

On the wedding day

Arrive with clean, dry hair unless your stylist has asked otherwise, and wear a button-front top so you can change without disturbing your hair and makeup. Keep a small touch-up kit with your lipstick, blotting papers and a few bobby pins.

Choosing your bridal hairstyle

The right bridal style balances your dress, your veil or accessories, your hair type and the setting. A few things to think about before your trial:

  • Neckline: high or detailed necklines often look best with an updo or a sleek low bun; strapless and sweetheart necklines suit soft waves or a half-up style.
  • Veil and accessories: where your veil sits (crown, middle or under a bun) changes how the style is built, so bring it to your trial if you can.
  • Hair length and thickness: fine hair may need extra texture to hold a style; very thick hair may need more structure and pins.
  • Your everyday look: you want to look like the best version of yourself, so many brides choose a style that feels familiar but elevated.

Our stylists will talk through options with you and adapt any inspiration photo to suit your hair.

Planning for a Florida wedding

Space Coast weddings often mean sunshine, sea breezes and humidity. Tell us if your ceremony is on the beach, in a garden or outdoors, because it changes our approach:

  • Secure, textured updos and braided styles stand up to wind better than loose curls.
  • Long-wearing, humidity-resistant makeup and setting techniques help your look last through the reception.
  • For midday ceremonies, we plan makeup that won't flash back or look shiny in photos.

Tips for a stress-free wedding morning

  • Share a schedule with the bridal party so everyone knows when they are in the chair.
  • Have the bride go last for makeup so it is freshest for photos.
  • Eat a light breakfast and stay hydrated.
  • Choose your products early: our professional product lines include options to keep hair and skin at their best in the weeks before.

Frequently asked questions

Can Adore Salon do hair and makeup for my whole bridal party?

Yes. We can pamper you and your bridal party with hair, makeup, nails and facials. Tell us how many people need each service when you enquire.

When should I book wedding hair and makeup?

As early as possible once your date and venue are set. Popular wedding dates fill up, and booking early also leaves time for a trial.

Should I have a hair and makeup trial?

A trial is strongly recommended. It lets you test your style with your veil or accessories and adjust anything before the big day.

What should the bridal party bring on the day?

Clean, dry hair (unless told otherwise), a button-front top, any accessories or hairpieces, and a small touch-up kit with lipstick and blotting papers.

How do I get the Bridal Collections booklet?

E-mail adoreoursalon@gmail.com and ask for the Bridal Collections booklet, or call 321-848-0984.
